Fall 2009 – Don’t Look Stupid

Alvin: One thing that bugs me about this blog is the “About” section. You can see to the right of this line. “The Jobber Cartel consists of three top tier bloggers who have nothing better to do but make fun of shit.” That’s a little unfair. I like to think we’re better than that. We can be productive members of the blogosphere too. Take Al for instance. As the residential fashion expert, he has been the connoisseur of cool for as long as I know. I don’t know anyone who has sworn off of Hypebeast more than him, only to inevitably crawl back. It is in his blood. He was gracious enough to pass on some pearls of wisdom. Treasure them like a pair of Nike Dunks…wait what? They’re out of style? When was this?

Fedoras

Al: I just read a pretty golden quote off of NeoGaf…

“Fedoras and Trilbys are like cigarettes: They make cool people look cooler, but they make uncool people look uncooler.”

I was actually pretty interested in rocking a fedora for the Fall, but alas, they do not make fedoras in size Bobby Generic.

Baron Davis pretty much kilt it though with his. Too bad he’s a done deal. You know it’s bad when Kings fans crack on Clippers fans and it’s accepted.
